I've got a great money maker for beginners. Wanna know what it is? Of course you do. I know that I can go on and on about how to make money with adsense, and I do. But for today, I will hush about that and we'll talk about alternate ways to make money online that don't have anything to do with adsense and are as easy to make money with as adsense.
Does that sound fair?
Ok.
Easiest way to make money for beginners that I can think of besides using adsense is to do what I'm about to outline for you. To succeed in making money online you've always gotta be on guard for a new concept of making money online. If you're lucky you'll find the newest money maker and be the first to advance like Grizz did when he started targeting "Payday Loans" as an additional keyword. Targeting a keyword like that is serious business because it is considered a Red Flag keyword by Google since it pays out upwards of nine dollars per click. It's too difficult to target something like that with only beginners basic SEO. Getting off topic now we'll save that one for later.
Ok here's what I want you to do:
First a little brainstorming.
Think of some niches that always have customers. One of the first niches that pop into my head is fitness, weight loss, etc. This one applies to the most common concept of MMO which is the law of supply and demand. Being fit and attractive is high in demand thanks to our society today where everyone has to be attractive to "advance" in the world. You better believe it makes a difference when promotion time comes around at work. Being fit and attractive are proven assets for making more money and getting better jobs according to recent psychological studies. People who are attractive and not overweight are more likely to be viewed as trustworthy and competent at their job than employees who are unattractive and overweight. So there is a great market for anything related to looking good.
The method of making money that you're going to use is called offline promotion. For MMO beginners, this one is especially easy because you don't have to rely on getting search traffic through your under developed SEO skills (don't worry we all start out that way especially yours truly). Good news is that you can make money without SEO for now, and the better news is that you can learn SEO and make money with both offline and online tactics later on. However, once you find a balance between the two you can make double the money from search traffic.
For now....
Choose your niche. I'm gonna use weight loss fitness for example. You don'teven have to have a website to make money with this method!
The first thing you do after picking a niche is keyword research. As you are doing this you're looking for phrases that contain your keyword with in the phrase and don't have much competition. Some competition is good, because you can compete with them and those key phrases are getting searched in Google. By doing this you guys are doing basic SEO that will advance your rankings in the SERPs. All SEO isn't as complicated as the experts would have you think. You can do this!
So after you've done that you wanna choose a URL with your main keyword in it if at all possible. Once again this is a very powerful and easy SEO technique for beginners. Continuing with the example let's say I chose weightloss.com and it was taken so then I chose weight-loss.com and got it. Great.
The next thing you can do is to join an affiliate program specifically for losing weight that converts well and pays you a decent commission of 25 to 50 bucks per sale. The way that you make money without a website or blog is that you redirect your URL to your affiliate link so that, in English, when a person types in your URL they are automatically sent to the site you're an affiliate of where they land on the sale page. Now this technique is considered "cloaking" and some people debate whether or not is ethical, but that's for you to decide for yourself. It's a lot easier than starting a blog and putting an affiliate link in a post and hoping that you get at least 15% of your traffic to click it.
This way you get 100% of your traffic to go through your affiliate link. That an 85% increase in possible sales conversion - which is a damn good argument in favour of this MMO tactic. Easily the best money maker for beginners aside from adsense.
Alright all that sounds pretty good and the numbers are in your favor to make killer commissions but how do you get people to find your site?
This is where "offline promotion" will make you the big money. You do it the old fashion way with leg work. Go to all your local gyms and put up flyers with you URL and a description of the product and post them on bulletin boards or put flyers on cars at the gym too. Do anything to get noticed. Consider any concept of making money online available to you. Examine all avenues that could get the word out for your affiliate site.
Next put ads in newspapers with a few words and most importantly your URL. There are lots of little papers that allow ads for free, take advantage of them. Most you gotta pay for but shouldn't cost much. You make one sale that way and you'll make a profit as cheap as some ads are. The more creative you get offline the more money you will make online. You can make money like this the free way as well, just be creative with it. I guess you can see why this is such a money maker for beginners as there is hardly any expense to you at all besides the cost of a domain name which you can get anywhere from 5 to 8 bucks. After you've done your offline promotion you don't have to work for money any more. No posts to write or website to maintain, just ocassional offline promotion.

Basic Concepts of Making Money Online
Basic Concepts of Making Money Online for Beginners
I can tell by the general consensus of the emails I'm getting that you guys are still feeling overwhelmed by the whole make money online deal. You probably don't know where to begin and it's like grabbing at straws to get anyone who really knows how to MMO to share their secrets with you. This comes out of fear that once they reveal what works in MMO that everyone will be doing it and it will no longer work anymore.
That is true to a certain extent for technical issues and formulas but doesn't apply to what I'm going to tell you about later. Sharing the basic concepts of MMO with you will not hurt me or my profits in any way simply because the way that I make money online isn't affected by anything other than rankings in Google's SERPs. Rank higher than me, make more money than me.
It's that simple.
You may have noticed that this is a relatively new MMO blog and you may also notice that there are no affiliate links or any other form of monetization for that matter anywhere on this MMO blog currently (as of today's date). Why? It's all part of a strategy that I use to make money from my blog and rank high in the SERPs. I know that it seems contradictory, but you will understand later on how I will make more money and rank higher in Google by delaying monetization.
Which brings me back to my reason for writing this, if you're an MMO beginner you probably don't know how to get started with setting up an internet business. I'm sure you've got tons of questions (I know because I check my email!):
How do I make a blog?
What is MMO?
What are some basic money making concepts?
How do you make money online?
Do I have to sell anything?
What's the best niche to work in?
Which niche makes the most money?
What's adsense?
Should I use adwords?
How do I set up an adsense account?
How do I get traffic?
How does adsense work?
And the list goes on and on understably. You will always have new questions about making money online as long as you do this thing. It's an environment that you must be willing to continually learn in order to be successful. My point is that you clearly want to make money online and your are willing to learn if you're here reading this. I mentioned earlier that this blog is not monetized in any way and I don't have any affiliate links or products anywhere on this blog. I'm not trying to make any money off of you by recommending this product or that. Most MMO bloggers will tell you that you can make money fast if you just buy this software or that book.
No Sir, none of that here.
I'm only talking about the basics of making money online that don't cost you a thing. Forget about using Adwords or buying Aaron Wall's SEO book. You don't need them. You can make money without spending money. If you use Adwords you will make money but you will also end up paying that much or more right back for the cost of advertisement.
How Adsense Works
What I do recommend is that you use Adsense because it is 100% free and it is also a dream money maker for beginners because you can be completely computer illiterate and still make money using free traffic on your free blogger blog (more on free blogs later). It doesn't get any more basic than that folks. With Adsense, Google provides the advertisements for you and even matches them to your content so that all of the ads showing up on your blog are relevant to what you're writing about making those ads more appealing to your visitors.
You make money from search traffic.
A visitor googles a term that they want to know more about or maybe they google something that they want to buy and they end up on your blog reading your content. Then that visitor sees an ad by Google that is relevant to what they were looking for when they found your site and then they click the ad to continue looking for whatever it is that they were looking for and you make money.
How?
Google pays you per click for those adsense ads. You aren't selling anything so your visitors don't have to buy anything for you to make money. It's a beautiful, basic system for making money online. Advertisers pay Google then Google pays you. This is how you make money with adsense. There are a few things I'd like to talk more about in the next section of this article because they didn't get all the air time that they need in this one. So let's call it a day and we will pick up next time on basic concepts of making money online for beginners.

Beginners Guide to MMO
Beginners Guide to MMO
I can assume that by now you've read some of my posts on MMO and you've already got your own MMO blog or you have plans on getting a blog for MMO purposes. Starting from this point I want to make a guide of sorts for you, a guide for beginners about making money online in other words.
There are specific things you've gotta do if you are serious about making money online. It does take time and you will not get rich quick, so don't even bother if that's all that interests you. I'll skip the preamble on this, but it's best if you know what you're getting into before you actually get into it.
You can make "money online without spending money".
So don't. At least not for a while. Later on you can increase your MMO success with programs that make it easier for you to get backlinks and such but all that stuff in unnecessary for now. All you need in the meantime is some good white hat SEO tips to arm yourself with for increasing your visibility in the SERPs.
Beginners Guide to SEO
One way that I do that is write long posts. As an MMO beginner, you've no doubt heard different takes on post length. Some people prefer to write a new little post every day or other day. Whatever works best for you. If you know how to optimize your short posts for the keywords you want then go for it.
I, on the other hand, feel that I get more out of a longer post because it gives me the opportunity to put in multiple keywords. The more MMO keywords that I can put into a post the better my chances of getting ranked for those words.
HOWEVER....
There is a great deal of talent and precision involved in this. You cannot over stuff your posts with keywords or else it will appear to G that you're writing a spam post. Not to mention that whatever visitors you get will take one look at your post and know it's not going to be helpful to them in no way whatsoever because it's just a bunch of keywords crammed into a shitty post. Ideally, you should use your keyword 6% of the total number of words that you write.
Backlinks
Your MMO success can be summed up in one word-backlinks. They greatly determine your success in the make money online niche.
What are backlinks?
Links pointing to your site from someone else's site. They're important because of the weight they carry with Google which determines a site's authority. Generally the higher your authority the higher that you rank in the SERPs and the greater your chances of ranking number 1 in Google.
The best kinds of backlinks are correctly anchored links. By that I simply mean that if you have an MMO blog where you talk about money or making money (which would be your main keyword, not to mention what you want to get highly indexed for in the SERPs) then getting a backlink using the word "money" would serve as an anchored backlink, or string of words linked to you as "make money online" would be even better.
What I'm trying to say here my beloved MMO newbies is that anchored backlinks increase your authority and are worth much more than if someone just linked to you by your site name or your personal name. You don't always have control over how someone links to you, but in cases where you do, use the proper anchor in accordance with your niche.
Ok, moving on.
Beginners Guide to MMO
We've laid the ground work for having an optimized site using white hat SEO (Google approved SEO that you won't get penalized for). Now the only thing left to do is decide how you want to monetize your MMO blog and go from just blogging about making money online to actually making money online blogging about making money online.
What kind of traffic are you getting? Is it social or primarily search traffic? If you aren't sure which kind of traffic you're getting you either don't know what the difference is or you just haven't successfully optimized for one or the other. I wrote a post a few weeks ago on targeting the right kind of traffic for making money, the title is actually called Easy Ways to Make Money because it is easy once you've got the kind of traffic that fits the way you've monetized your site.
After you've gotten some original content (content written by you, not copied content) that is highly optimized for your targeted keywords the work is done, all but one little bit-deciding how to monetize your site.
Think about it. After you've done everything I've mentioned thus far what else is there to do besides the up keep-writing more content and getting more backlinks?
You're either selling or promoting something to make money and that's something you should have on your mind from the start. You can sell anything from products to your own expertise and adivse others or even make classes. Bottom line is that you don't over monetize your MMO blog. You should keep it nice clean and professional.
Having a dozen affiliate banners in your sidebar and adsense mixed in with it looks like shit and you won't make money that way. Either make you MMO blog into an affiliate blog or an adsense blog. Clearly define the way you make money with your MMO blog or you will not see the kind of profit you want. And there you have it folks the beginners guide to MMO.

Basic Ways for Beginners to Make Money Online
Basic Ways for Beginners to Make Money Online
There are two basic ways to make money online: selling something or promoting something. You've got to have something of value before you can make any money. That's just simple economics.
Selling or promoting something of value...
Let's step aside from selling, and focus on the aspect of "online promotion" to make money since it is what the vast majority of bloggers are doing to make money online.
Online promotion often refers to affiliate marketing/internet marketing where one promotes a product or service in the form of a banner/ad of some sort or just a simple text link in the writer's content.
Using your content as online promotion is a basic way to make money online for beginners to advanced. Everybody does it who wants to make a living online.
Now that the boring little intro is done let's talk about how beginners like yourselves can start making money with the basics.
First off, you should get a blog or two, maybe even more and start writing original content about A topic. Do not stray from your topic. Choose your keywords well. Do not, I repeat DO NOT monetize your blog until you have a few really good articles written and posted and you are seeing search traffic coming in. The longer you wait to monetize, the better.
Then, according to your niche either monetize with affiliate marketing or make your money with adsense. I think affiliate marketing is great, but it has it's ups and downs. I prefer making money with adsense because it is a much steadier income once you're getting regular traffic.
Affiliate marketing is greatly hit or miss. There's more involved for you to make any money because someone has to buy something whereas with Adsense all they have to do is click your ad.
It really doesn't get any more basic than that when it comes to making money online. You're either selling a product/service or promoting a product/service. The promotion side of it is much easier to most people because you're not dealing with customer satisfaction, shipping, employees, etc.
I don't know how much you guys want me to expound upon this, so if you want more specifics on the topic let me know via email or by commenting below and we will see what we can do about getting a Part 2 of this post in the works. If not I will safely assume that you guys have found "basic ways for beginners to make money online" helpful.
